Insurance contract (terms and conditions attached). To be covered, the insured person's place of residence must be located in France (+ Corsica, DROM and COM), in one of the EU member states, Switzerland, Norway, Andorra, Liechtenstein, San Marino or Gibraltar.
1 - Cancellation insurance: We strongly advise you to take out cancellation insurance if you are not already covered for this risk elsewhere. Experience has shown us that even a simple sprained ankle can be costly if you do not have this cover. Les Matins du Monde offers this cover for 2.75% of the total cost of your trip.
2 - Comprehensive insurance: Cancellation - Repatriation assistance and medical expenses / Search and rescue expenses, which is compulsory: We recommend that you take out comprehensive multi-risk insurance (cancellation + interruption - luggage - assistance - repatriation - search and rescue costs) for 3.95% of the cost of the trip, with a minimum of EUR 50 per person (search and rescue costs capped according to the destination and activity).
3 - If you refuse to take out Les Matins du Monde insurance, you must provide us, before departure, with a ‘Certificate of Medical Expenses/Repatriation Assistance/Rescue and Emergency costs » drawn up and signed by your insurance company, clearly stating the trip concerned, the dates of the trip, the persons covered and the amounts of the search and rescue cover.

NB: In both options, travel cancellation cover is provided in the event of: SERIOUS ILLNESS, SERIOUS ACCIDENT OR DEATH (including the worsening of previous illnesses and the after-effects of a previous accident): of your professional substitute, provided that their name is mentioned when booking the trip,* of the person responsible, during your trip, for: - the care of your minor children, provided that their name is mentioned when taking out the policy, - the care of a disabled person, provided that they live in your house that and you are the legal tutor and that their name is mentioned when the contract is signed.

Cancellation cover is provided in the event of serious illness, serious physical injury or death occurring before you take out your travel insurance.

- your designated professional replacement at the time of taking out the insurance;
- The person designated at the time of taking out this policy who is responsible for looking after or accompanying your minor children or disabled person living in your home during your trip, provided they are hospitalised for more than 48 hours or die.

Transportation : Refer to the technical sheet of the trip. The duration of the transport and the stopovers are not known at the moment.

In due course, before the start of the trip, and in accordance with the article L.211-10 of the Tourism Code, you will be given the necessary documents as well as information on the schedule time of departure and (in case of transport) the check-in deadline as well as the scheduled stopover, transfer and arrival times.
